Ingredients For st. paul's rice

1 lbsweet italian sausage, no casings

2 lgonions, sliced

2 smgreen peppers, chopped

3 ribscelery, sliced
-
2 cfrozen peas, thawed
-
4 cwater
-
2 cinstant rice
-
1 pkgdehydrated chicken noodle soup

scallions, sliced
How To Make st. paul's rice

1In a large nonstick skillet, brown sausage over medium high heat. Add onions, celery & peas to skillet. Over medium heat, cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender & sausage is cooked through, about 15 - 20 minutes.

2Meanwhile, in medium pot, bring water, rice & dehydrated soup to boil; reduce heat to medium. Simmer until rice & noodles are tender, about 7 minutes, adding additional water if needed.

3Combine rice mixture & sausage mixture & serve topped with scallions.
