Stir all the seasoning into the water, mashing the garlic powder and pepper so that they don't clump. Find a
bowl just big enough to hold the chicken, and cover the chicken with marinade.Cover bowl and refrigerate for 24 hrs.moving the chicken parts around once or twice.
Mix all ingredients in spiced flour. Heat about 2in.veg.oil to 365-375F in deep cast iron pot or skillet
Pull the chicken piece by piece from the marinade and dredge it directly in the seasoning flour. Set it on a baking sheet or aluminum foil,5-10min.
Cook chicin in hot oil,20-25min.,turning each piece a few times, so it cooks evenly and it turns golden brown.
Drain on a brown paper bag or wire rack and serve.
P.S. Can use 4 bone-in,skin on breast, 4 thighs and 4 drumsticks,washed.
