Slow-cooked cranberry chicken

boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Combine onions and cranberries in a 4-quart slow-cooker. Place chicken on top. In bowl, combine next 5 ingredients. Whisk well. Pour over chicken.
Cover cooker and cook on high for 1 hr. Reduce heat to low and cook 6 hrs. Transfer chicken to a platter and keep warm.
In a lg measuring cup, whisk together cornstarch and water. Stir into cooker. Cook, uncovered on high for 15 mins, stirring often, until thickened. Pour sauce over chicken.
