Sautied Chicken Livers

My Grandma Delleplain was a real Southeren lady, she loved her Chicken and chicken livers was one of the things farm woman cooked often. This is another one of grandma's recipe.
1 1/2 lb
cleaned chicken livers
1Wash the chicken livers in cold water , cut them into guarters , sprinkle with salt, pepper, flour.
2Sautie onions in shortening, add chicken livers and brown, and broth and simmer 2-4 minutes.
