Ingredients For quick n dirty jambalaya

  • 1 c
    yellow rice
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes
  • 3 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 lb
    shrimps, uncooked, cleaned, peeled
  • 1
    chicken breast, cooked, diced
  • 1
    vidalia onion, diced
  • 1
    green bell pepper, diced
  • 2
    stalk of celery, diced
  • salt, pepper, red pepper flakes

How To Make quick n dirty jambalaya

    Heat up a good bit of oil or butter in a deep pot. Toss in the peppers, onions and celery and cook until softened.

    Toss in the dry rice, tomatoes, broth, chicken and shrimps. Salt, Pepper, Red pepper flakes are suggested. Bring to a boil, cover and lower the heat to a simmer. 30 minutes.

    Stir every once in a while, check the liquid level, you might have to add a bit of water. Ready when the rice is done. Enjoy.
