An easy, week night version of the classic. And a super way to use up leftover ham! These are tender and moist...and no deep fryer required!

Ingredients

4
chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
4 slice
provolone or swiss cheese
8 slice
deli ham
1 stick
butter, melted
1 c
italian bread crumbs
salt & pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Pre-heat oven to 375*. Oil a 9" casserole dish.
2Pound out chicken breasts to about 1/4 inch. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Layer on 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese. Roll, tucking in sides, and "pin" closed with a tooth pick.
3Dip each roll in the melted butter and then coat in bread crumbs. Place in casserole and bake approx. 45 minutes, until breading is golden and cheese has melted. If you are a thermometer user, the internal temp should be 165*.
