How To Make orange chicken (very easy) - 2 different ways

  • 1
MAKE THE SAUCE (FOR EITHER WAY): In a small saucepan, heat the orange juice concentrate, honey & salt & pepper, to taste, over medium heat & boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside.
  • 2
CHICKEN NUGGETS WAY: Preheat oven to degree on the back of nuggets package. Place breaded chicken nuggets in a casserole dish, pour 1/4 orange glaze mixture over & cook for 15 minutes. Stir & pour another 1/4 of the glaze over & continue to cook another 15 minutes. Take out when done & pour remaining of glaze over chicken & let cool 10 minutes. Can serve over rice.

BREAST OF CHICKEN WAY: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Liberally salt & pepper the chicken breast halves. Heat the oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat & sear the chicken, skin side only, until brown & beginning to crisp, about 5 minutes. Turn the chicken over & brush each piece with the glaze. Turn the chicken skin side up & transfer the pan to the oven. Bake until the internal temperature reaches 160 - 170 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer, brushing on more glaze halfway through, about 15 minutes in total. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes on a cutting board. Remove the chicken breast from the bone & slice the meat on the bias. Transfer the chicken to a serving platter & enjoy!
