Nessa's Chicken Long Rice...

ginger root, crushed
First soak the long rice & mushrooms in warm water for about 30 minutes. Cut the chicken into 2-inch piece's & sprinkle with salt & pepper. Then remove the stems from the mushroom's & cut into strips.
In large pot heat the oil over medium heat. Then saute the chicken, garlic & ginger root. Then add in the mushroom's, add in water & cover the pot. Let simmer for about 1 hour.
Then drain the long rice, cut into 3-inch length's. Add it to the pot & simmer for 15 more minutes. Then add in the MSG & green onions just before serving. make's 6 servings...
