for an interesting taste, swap out maple syrup for pinapple juice and orange zest for bacon bits

Ingredients

1/2 c
maple syrup
2 tsp
dejun mustard
1 tsp
grated orange zest
1 Tbsp
white vinegar
1 tsp
tyme
4
bone in, skin on, split chicken breast
salt and pepper to your taste
1 Tbsp
vegetable oil

Step-By-Step

1preheat oven to 475
2wisk maple syrup, mustard, orange zest, vingar and tyme in a medium bowl
3pat chicken dry with a paper towl
4season with salt and pepper
5heat oil i an oven safe skillet over midium heat
6cook skin side down for 5 minutes
7turn skin side up and transfer to the oven
8cook for 15 minutes or until golden brown
9transfer chiken to plate
10tent with foil
11pour out any fat in skillet and maple mixmin pan over medium heat for 3 minutes(stir often)
12season with salt and pepper
13retern chicken to pan and glaze
14serve
