I love to fry those chicken and it is one of my favorite meal and I fix mashed potatoes or rice with chicken gravy. My family loves it.

3 or 4 lb
whole chicken or breasts
1 1/2 c
self-rising flour
1 1/2 tsp
garlic salt
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper
vegetable oil

Directions Step-By-Step

Wash and clean the chicken. Heat oil in a large skillet. Put flour on a plate and sprinkle garlic salt and cayenne pepper on chicken. Dip chicken in flour. Put chicken in a hot oil skillet on medium heat and fry the chicken and turn chicken over few times and cook for 15 minutes until no longer pink and done. Drain on paper towels.
