Hot Chicken Salad

This is a family favorite. Very creamy and flavorful. I like to use the breasts from a rotisserie chicken. Great potluck fare!

Ingredients

2 c
shredded cooked chicken breasts
1 c
cooked rice
1 c
diced celery
3/4 c
mayonnaise
6 oz
jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 tsp
diced onion
1 tsp
salt
5 oz
can sliced water chestnuts, drained
12 oz
can cream of chicken soup

Step-By-Step

1Mix all ingredients together and place in lightly greased 2 qt. casserole.
2Spread over the top:

1 Cup corn flakes
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup melted butter
3Bake 35 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven
