Herb Chicken with Tortellini

I found this recipe on a bag of frozen chicken tenderloins. We had it for dinner last night. It was EASY to make and was a big hit! Served along side a tossed saldad and some garlic bread...Yummy. Try it...you'll like it!

Ingredients

4 c
uncooked sliced chicken breast ( or you could use other parts)
1/2 c
sour cream ( use light if you are watching fat intake)
1/4 c
fresh chopped basil ( make sure you use fresh)
1/2 tsp
dried oregano
1/4 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp
olive oil
3 clove
minced garlic
1 small
red bell pepper ( cut in strips)
1/3 c
toasted walnuts
1 pkg
frozen tortellini prepared to pkg directions

Step-By-Step

1In a small bowl mix together sour cream, basil oregano, salt and cayenne pepper, set aside
2In fry pan place oil and heat to med/high. Add chicken and saute about 5 minutes
3Stir in garlic and red pepper ( I added sliced mushrooms and I suppose you could add peas, broccoli?)
4Saute, stirring 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream mixture and heat thoroughly about 2 minutes.
5Place cooked tortellini on a serving dish and top with chicken mixture. Sprinkle with walnuts and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
