chicken pieces (whatever you like, i used to use a whole cut-up chicken)
1/4 - 1/2
7up (or any clear soda)
1Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
2Rinse chicken and pat dry. Arrange in 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with dry onion soup mix. Cover with foil and bake in 500 degree oven for 15 minutes.
3Remove from oven & reduce temp to 350 degrees. Carefully remove foil. Drizzle chicken with 7Up, careful not to wash off the soup mix. Cover & return to oven. Bake for 45 minutes.
4You can substitue white wine for the 7Up. And you can make a gravy out of the plentiful pan juice (although I'm not the best gravy maker).
