Fruited Chicken

I like to add fruit to some recipes. it gives a little added something to the meal.

Ingredients

sliced apples, peaches or pineapples (save juice)

piecess chicken breasts boned and skinless
salt and pepper to taste
pinch of nutmeg
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
crushed nuts
2 Tbsp
parsley chopped
2 Tbsp
cornstarch fruit juice mixed

Directions Step-By-Step

For the fruit add as much or as little you like
Place chicken on sprayed pan, salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
Bake at 350 degree's until chicken is cooked.
Mix lemon juice with your fruit and the cornstarch mix Place the fruit in sauce pan and bring it up to heat, it will thicken.
Place fruit on top of chicken and sprinkle with nuts and parsley. I like to place the chicken and fruit over rice.
