FANNIE's Story

THIS IS DELICOUS THE FIRST DAY AND THE SECOND IF IT,S ANY LEFT

whole fryers,cut up

cans, golden mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup

med bell pepper,diced

med onion,diced
cooking oil
complete seasoning,
salt &pepper to taste
crushed garlic, can be bought in a jar
rice, cooked and hot
flour ,for browning
note: do not add water to soup

WASH CHICKEN ,SEASON WELL WITH COMPLETE SEASONING,SALT AND PEPPER,DREDGE CHICKEN IN FLOUR AND DUST OFF,IT NEEDS TO BE LIGHTLY COATED WITH FLOUR

IN A LARGE SKILLET ,BROWN CHICKEN PARTS,AND DRAIN OFF EXCESS OIL ON PAPER TOWEL

PLACE BROWNED CHICKEN IN A ROASTING PAN ,NOW COVER WITH,BELL PEPPER ,ONION & GARLIC ADD 3CUPS WATER AND BAKE AT 350* FOR 1 HR, NOW ADD MUSHROOM SOUP AND COOK 20 MIN, LONGER SERVE OVER RICE

Fannie, I have posted my Grandma's Smothered Chicken here, and although yours sounds completely different from grandma's, it also sounds delicious! I'll be trying it this way soon - thanks for posting!

Fannie, Sorry I didn't read all the other comments before writing you. They answered all my questions, and you talked about the cream of chicken soup too! But I still can't find complete seasoning.
