Today started with the question, "What can I make for supper?" with our limited groceries left in the fridge. Crockpot to the rescue! You can serve this over noodles or rice, or whatever you come up with. It would also make a good base for a soup... throw in some of your favorite veggies and youre set!

Ingredients For crockpot chicken and gravy

    partially defrosted boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 2 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    (14.5 oz) chicken broth
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter or margarine, cut in pieces
  • 5 oz
    cream cheese, cut in pieces
  • pepper (to taste)

How To Make crockpot chicken and gravy

    Put your cubed chicken into your crock pot. In a saucepan melt together your butter and cream cheese. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour over chicken mixture and stir.

    Cook on low for 6-8 hours, stirring periodically. Serve over rice or noodles.
