Ingredients

  • MEATS:
  • 1 pound filet mignon, sliced thin
  • or
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless & skinless, cut into thin strips
  • REMAINING INGREDIENTS:
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons steak seasoning (i use mccormick perfect pinch steak seasoning)
  • 1 stick butter, unsalted
  • 2 large onion, sliced thin
  • 1 - 2 large green bell peppers, sliced thin
  • 6 small rolls or kings hawaiian original hawaiian sweet mini sub rolls
  • 6 - 12 slices provolone cheese

How To Make crock pot philly cheese steak

  • Step 1
    Toss steak or chicken strips in a bowl with salt, pepper, garlic & steak seasoning.
  • Step 2
    Place butter in crock pot. Place onions & green peppers on top, then add in the steak or chicken.
  • Step 3
    Cover & cook on LOW for 4 - 5 hours.
  • Step 4
    Divide steak, onions & peppers evenly amongst rolls. Top with a slice or two of provolone cheese & place in toaster oven (on toast setting) or broiler for about 2 minutes to melt cheese. Serve immediately & enjoy.
