Ingredients
- MEATS:
- 1 pound filet mignon, sliced thin
- or
- 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless & skinless, cut into thin strips
- REMAINING INGREDIENTS:
- salt & pepper, to taste
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons steak seasoning (i use mccormick perfect pinch steak seasoning)
- 1 stick butter, unsalted
- 2 large onion, sliced thin
- 1 - 2 large green bell peppers, sliced thin
- 6 small rolls or kings hawaiian original hawaiian sweet mini sub rolls
- 6 - 12 slices provolone cheese
How To Make crock pot philly cheese steak

Step 1Toss steak or chicken strips in a bowl with salt, pepper, garlic & steak seasoning.

Step 2Place butter in crock pot. Place onions & green peppers on top, then add in the steak or chicken.

Step 3Cover & cook on LOW for 4 - 5 hours.

Step 4Divide steak, onions & peppers evenly amongst rolls. Top with a slice or two of provolone cheese & place in toaster oven (on toast setting) or broiler for about 2 minutes to melt cheese. Serve immediately & enjoy.
