Ingredients
- 2 1/2 - 3 pounds fryer chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sage, dried or oregano
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- butter
How To Make crock pot "fried" chicken

Step 1Rinse chicken pieces & pat dry.

Step 2Combine flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder & sage or oregano.

Step 3Toss chicken pieces with flour mixture to coat.

Step 4In skillet, heat butter to 1/4" depth & cook chicken over medium high heat until brown.

Step 55.Place browned chicken in crock pot, adding wings first; do not add any liquid.

Step 6Cover & cook on low setting for 4 - 8 hours.
