Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken

This is a delicious, hearty, creamy meal I cooked up one cold winter day.

Ingredients

1 lb
pound boneless skinless chicken, cut up
2 Tbsp
butter, melted
1 pkg
dry italian salad dressing
1 can(s)
condensed cream of chicken soup
8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1 c
water (i add chicken bouillon)
1 medium
yellow or white onion, diced
4
celery stalks, chopped
4
large carrots, chopped
4
potatoes, chopped

Step-By-Step

1Pour water in bottom of crock pot, then add the chicken; drizzle melted butter over chicken and sprinkle with dry Italian dressing, stir well.

2Add in chopped vegetables, stir again.

3Cook on high 5-6 hours.

430-45 minutes before done, mix soup and cream cheese (I melt in microwave for a few minutes to combine until smooth).

5Add mixture to crock pot, stirring well, and continue cooking on low for 30-45 minutes.

6Serve and enjoy!
