Creamy Italian Chicken and Noodles

3 medium
boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 c
diced onion
2 clove
garlic, minced
2 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp
onion powder
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
italian seasoning
1/2 tsp
dried parsley or 1 tablespoon chopped, fresh
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1/2 c
1/3 c
heavy cream or milk
1/4 c
white wine
2 tsp
chicken bouillon granules
1 pkg
pasta ribbons or egg noodles
3 Tbsp


1Cut chicken breasts into bite sized pieces.
In a large skillet over medium heat; heat butter and olive oil. Add onions, garlic and chicken. Cook and stir until onions are transparent and chicken is almost done.

2Add to chicken the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and parsley.
Stir in the cream of chicken soup, water, cream or milk, wine and bouillon granules. Bring to boil; reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered for about 25 to 30 minutes.

3While mixture simmers; cook the noodles according to the package directions. Drain the noodles and stir in the butter. ( I added some fresh chopped green onions and shredded parmesan to my noodles)

4Serve chicken mixture on top of noodles.
