Creamy Garlic Sauce & Pasta

No need to buy the boxed pasta with powdered sauce mix. This easy homemade sauce is full of flavor and is great served over rice, vegetables even chicken breast!

8 oz
egg noodles, uncooked
1/4 c
(1/2 stick) butter
1/4 c
olive oil
2/3 c
heavy cream
2 oz
cream cheese, room temperature
3 clove
garlic, diced
salt and pepper, to taste
1 Tbsp
green onions, chopped


1Boil pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking make sauce.
2In a pan over medium heat combine butter, olive oil, heavy cream, and cream cheese and whisk until smooth; reduce heat to medium low; add diced fresh garlic to sauce and stir and let simmer for a minute or two; remove from heat, add salt & pepper stir to incorporate.
3Drain pasta and return to pot; pour sauce over noodles and stir to coat, transfer to serving plate and top with chopped green onions; serve immediatly...enjoy!
