Ingredients For creamy carrots

  • 2 lb
    carrots, peeled, cut diagonally into thin slices
  • 1 c
    chicken broth, low salt, fat free
  • 1 pkg
    chive & onion cream cheese (in tub)
  • 4 Tbsp
    chives, dried, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make creamy carrots

  • 1
    Bring carrots & broth to boil in lare skillet on medium high heat; cover. Simmer on medium low heat 8 - 10 minutes or until carrots are crisp tender.

    Uncover; simmer 8 - 10 minutes or until most of the broth is absorbed & carrots are tender.

    Remove from heat. Add cream cheese; stir until melted. Sprinkle with chives & pepper.
