Classic Potato Salad

When I was a young teen at 14, I became very interested in cooking,
I used to first start out baking toll house cookies with my sister, I loved it so much, I developed then and there a passion for cooking and baking, today I cook and bake all the time, it is a hobby i love and enjoy.I have some recipes to share, one is a a very delious Potato Salad, I hope I can get you interested in the recipe and hope you enjoy it as much as I do and my family, and friends. Friends neighbors and my family love my potato salad and enjoy it because the way I make it so tasty and with my wholesome fried chicken, which later I am going to give you the recipe to. This Recipe was a favorite recipe of my own mothers,who I lost when I was just 25. Very delious even you will enjoy it.

I first wash and peel potatoes real well, then I boil them on the stove, while boiling I have them on a timer, while the potatoes are boiling I take the eggs out to get room tempature, I check the potatoes after 15 minutes to make sure they didn't stick, I get the eggs prepared in another boiling pot, wait for the potatoes to finish after 1 hr of boiling, stick a tooth pick in the potatoes to be sure it comes out dry and soft, not hard, I take the potatoes off boil, turn off burner, let them sit 10 minutes, after I rinse the water. I sit them in the cold fridge after 10 minutes, wait 15 minutes for the eggs when they start boil, reduce heat on eggs wait additional 15 minutes, rinse water from eggs let sit 10 min. put eggs in fridge for 10 min. After eggs and potatoes have cooled off, I combine the potatoes after chopping and the eggs after they are cooled and peel them and them rinse to make sure excess shell pieces are rinsed off, cut and chop well into the egg and then add bacon after cooking and cooling it, crumble the bacon small in pieces, or if desired, you can use bacon bits. after this step, combine rest of ingredients as much as you like to use, then mix with mayonaisse. put in refrigerator for at least 1 hr to chill, enjoy.
