Chinese Chicken Casserole

My husband loves this recipe! I received it from my mom who got it from my aunt.

You can use low sodium soy sauce and can omit or add anything you want. I don't use nuts in mine and sometimes I add celery for a little more crunch.

Ingredients

3 c
cooked chopped chicken breasts
2 tsp
lemon juice, fresh
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
1 can(s)
bean sprouts
5 oz
water chestnuts
1 can(s)
chow mein noodles
1/4 c
chopped almonds
1 c
mayonnaise or miracle whip...whichever you prefer

Step-By-Step

1Marinate chicken overnight in lemon juice and soy sauce.
2Mix everything except chow mein noodles and nuts.
3Put in 13x9 greased pan.
4Top with chow mein noodles and nuts.
5Bake at 350 degrees (F) 25-30 minutes
