CHILI SPICE CHICKEN

This is good served over rice.You can also substitute ground beef for the chicken. the original recipe my family made used the beef but I wanted something different.

Ingredients

1 -1 1/4 lb
chicken tenders or boneless breasts
1/2 c
chopped onion
1/2 c
chopped bell pepper
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
chili powder
2 Tbsp
vegetable or olive oil
8 oz
can of tomato sauce
1/2 c
water

Step-By-Step

1chop onion, bell pepper and cut up chicken into chunks
2place oil in non stick skillet,add chicken,onion,bell pepper,salt and chili powder,cook on med heat until chicken is done and vegetables are almost tender.about 10 min
3add 8 oz can of tomato sauce and use 1/2 cup of water to rinse out can and add to skillet
4simmer on low-med heat until sauce thickens. approx 15-20 min.
