My husband loves this chicken dish. It is a recipe that I have made into my own with the mushrooms and reduced fat soup. It is great over rice.

Ingredients For chicken with mushrooms melt-in-your mouth

    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted
  • 2 can
    cream of mushroom soup, light
  • 4 oz
    mushrooms, fresh
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2
    eggs,beaten
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper

How To Make chicken with mushrooms melt-in-your mouth

    Combine four, salt and pepper. Roll chicken breasts in egg then flour mixture. Set aside.

    In a large skillet, melt butter on medium high heat. Add mushrooms and saute. Add chicken breast and brown in melted butter.

    Mix soup and sauce together. Pour soup mixture into skillet around and under chicken, but not covering chicken.

    Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 1-2 hours. Stir occasionally. Serve over rice.
