Ingredients For chicken tomato-torellini soup (or without chicken)

1 - 32 ozcontainer kitchen basics chicken stock

2 cwater

2 - 9 oz. pkgbutoni refrigerated tortellini, i used three-cheese tortellini

2 - 8 oz. pkgtubs philadelphia cream cheese with chives & onion

2 - 10 3/4 cantomato soup or tomato bisque soup
-
1rotisserie chicken, taken off bones & cut up into bite-sized pieces (optional)

chives, dried
How To Make chicken tomato-torellini soup (or without chicken)

1In a medium saucepan, bring stock & water to boiling.

2Add tortellini; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.

3In a bowl, whisk 2 C. of the hot stock into cream cheese until smooth.

4Return all to saucepan along with tomato soup & chicken (if using); heat through, about 5-8 minutes.

5Sprinkle with chives before serving.
