Chicken & Rice Casserole

This recipe calls for Frosted Flakes. I know it sounds odd, but it is wonderful. My family wants this all the time.

Ingredients

3 c
chicken, cooked and cubed
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
3/4 can(s)
hellman's mayo
2 1/2 c
rice, cooked
1 Tbsp
onion, grated
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
4 oz
can mushrooms
2 c
frosted flakes, divided
3 Tbsp
butter, melted
1 pkg
slivered almonds
1 c
celery diced

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix chicken, soup, may, rice, onion, celery lemon juice, mushrooms, 1 cup Frosted Flakes and almonds. (you can use a bit more or less Frosted Flakes and/or Rice). It should not be dry.

Spread in 9x13 pan. Mix 1 cup Frosted Flakes and butter. Sprinkle on top.

Bake 15 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
