1 can(14.5 ounce) italian style diced tomatoes

1 can(15 ounce) tomato sauce

1 can(6 ounce) tomato paste

1 Tbspbalsamic vinegar

1 Tbspgranulated sugar

1/2 tspdry oregano
-
1/2 tspdry basil
-
1/4 tspground black pepper

2 Tbspolive oil, divided

8chicken tenderloins, cut into thirds

1 Tbspminced garlic

pasta (any variety), prepared according to package directions

grated parmesan cheese
How To Make chicken pomodoro

1In a large bowl, combine diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, sugar, oregano, basil, black pepper and 1 Tbsp olive oil; stir to blend.

2In a large, heavy bottom skillet, heat 1 Tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat. Saute chicken tenderloins for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Add minced garlic and saute for 1 minute.

3Slowly pour the sauce into hot skillet and reduce heat to low. Simmer the chicken in the sauce for 10 minutes.

4Serve over your favorite pasta and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
