My mom has always enjoyed chicken livers....I need a little help to be able to eat them. This elevates them a bit and makes them look pretty!

Ingredients For chicken livers provencal

  • 1 lb
    chicken livers
  • 2 tsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 tsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    shallots or green onions, minced
  • 1 lg
    tomato, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 c
    fresh parsley, chopped

How To Make chicken livers provencal

  • 1
    Saute livers in butter and oil in a medium skillet 8 to 10 minutes or until livers are tender.

    Add shallots and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the tomato and the next 3 ingredients; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and stir in the parsley.
