Ingredients

2-3 lb
chicken, broiler-fryer
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
2 c
stuffing
1/4 c
butter
1/2 c
boullion
4
potatoes, peeled and quartered
1/2 lb
peas
6
carrots, sliced

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 375.

2Wash and dry chicken.

3Sprinkle cavity with 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.

4Stuff with stuffing.

5Tie legs together.

6Brown on all sides in butter in deep baking pan.

7Add bouillon and potatoes.

8Bake, covered 30 minutes.

9Add peas and carrots and remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt.

10Cover and bake 30 minutes longer.
