Ingredients

2 lb
chicken breast filets
4 c
chicken stock
2 medium
apples peeled , cored and sliced
8 oz
sharp white cheddar cheese
1 c
honey butter
1 pkg
puff pastery sheets
8 tsp
butter, melted

MAKES 4 80Z SERVINGS

Step-By-Step

1Take frozen puff pastry out of freezer to defrost

2Preheat oven to 350

3Poach Chicken Breast Filets in chicken stock until cooked through

4While chicken is poaching peel and slice apples,and cheese, cover with wet paper towel to keep apples from turning brown.

5Remove chicken from stock and cool for 1/2 hour

6While chicken is cooling unwrap puff pastry, cut each sheet in half. On floured counter roll out each piece to size that will enclose chicken

7In middle of pastry sheet place 2 slices of cheese, 3 slices of apples, 1 tablespoon of honey butter, then place chicken breast on top. Wrap puff pastry around chicken

8Place seamed side down on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter cook until puff pastry is golden brown

9Remove from oven let rest for 15 minutes serve with your choice of rice and veggies
