You may want to make a double batch....these will go quickly. Clyde & Gingi say they're snout licking good (aka: instead of "finger licking good")!

Ingredients

  • MEAT - YOUR CHOICE:
  • 1 - 10 oz cans hormel chicken breast, undrained
  • 1 package oscar mayer liverwurst (braunschweiger)
  • 2 - 5 oz cans tuna packed in oil, undrained
  • REMAINING INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra-virgin
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups old fashioned oats (not instant)
  • 2 x large eggs
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, low-sodium
  • 1/4 cup dry milk powder
  • QUICK WAY:
  • 2 - 10 oz cans chicken breast, undrained

How To Make chicken dog (or other) treats

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    In food processor, add chicken, oil, flour, oats, eggs, garlic, parsley, soy sauce & dry milk powder; pulse until combined, about 30 seconds to 1 minute - DO NOT LIQUEFY.
  • Step 3
    Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with silpat liner (or parchment paper).
  • Step 4
    Using a cookie scooper (any size depending on size of dog), tbsp size or larger globs on a cookie sheet & bake for 40 - 50 minutes, turn off oven (DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR) & let set up overnight (at least 12 hours) before allowing your pet to devour them.
