1In a large sauce pan heat oil over medium heat.
2Add onion and green pepper.
3Cook stirring, 8 - 10 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
4Stir in the remaining ingredients.
5Cover; simmer 30 - 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
6Serve with crusty bread and a salad.
