Ingredients

chicken, broiler-fryers, cut-up
1/4 c
olive oil
1 large
onion, sliced
2
minced garlic cloves
16 oz
canned tomatoes
8 oz
tomato sauce
1/3 c
teriyaki sauce
1 tsp
oregano
2
bay leaves

Step-By-Step

1Brown chicken pieces thoroughly in hot oil in large skillet or dutch oven; remove.

2Add onion and garlic to oil and cook until onion is translucent.

3Stir in remaining ingredients.

4Arrange chicken pieces in sauce; cover and simmer 45 minutes, or until chicken is tender.

5Discard bay leaves and skim off excess fat.

6Serve chicken and sauce on bed of cooked spaghetti or noodles.
