  • 2 Tbsp
    ground cumin
  • 2 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    five spice powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 4 Tbsp
    vegetable oil, divided

How To Make chicken breasts with spicy rub

    Pat chicken pieces dry.

    Combine ground cumin, paprika, brown sugar, black pepper, curry powder, cayenne pepper, salt, five spice powder, Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, 2 Tbsp vegetable oil, and minced garlic for the rub.

    Smear rub over both sides of the chicken.

    Brush the grill with 2 Tbsp oil.

    Place chicken on the grill, skin side down.

    Cook over low to medium heat for 40 - 45 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. If the heat is too high, the rub coating will burn. If the heat is too low, the cooking time will be longer.
