Whats not to like about this? It is easy and delicious. I wrote this recipe down a while back and found it in my stack of papers. I would write recipes down when I saw one I liked but at the time never thought to write down where or who it came from. At the time it didn't matter, I was just interested in making them, not knowing then about internet sharing. :)

The picture I got from Marie Calendars as that is how it does look except I don't add the lemon slices on top.

Method:

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1
carton of sliced mushrooms
4
boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1
stick of butter
1
packet of zesty italian dressing mix
4 oz
onion and chive cream cheese
1
can cream of mushroom soup
7 oz
chicken broth, (1/2 of a can)
1
jar of capers, drained
angel hair pasta

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Place the chicken in a fry pan with oil and just brown the chicken a little. Do not cook too long.

You don't have to do this step but I like to when I cook meat in a slow cooker just to give the meat color and I just think it tastes better.
2
Place mushrooms in the bottom of the crock-pot.

Place chicken breasts on top of the mushrooms.
3
In a sauce pan melt butter, dressing, soups and cream cheese together and pour over the chicken.

Top with capers.

Cook on low for 5 hours.
4
20 minutes before you eat, cook pasta according to directions on the package and serve chicken and sauce over the pasta.
