CHICKEN A LA KRAUT

I found this somewhere online but don't remember where. It was so amazingly good I wanted to share this with you. I am not a huge fan of Sauerkraut but hubby is, so I made this for him. He made such a big deal out of how good it was I had to try some......OMG! THIS WAS SO GOOD! Well worth trying. The sauerkraut and cranberries create a surprisingly delicious taste. I don't like cornbread stuffing so I use normal stuffing , yes I said it ,cornbread is not normal stuffing . We will definitely be making this a again!!

Ingredients

1(16 oz) bottle
sauerkraut, drained
1(16 oz) can(s)
can whole cranberry sauce

boneless skinless chicken breast halved
1 c
hot water
6 tsp
butter , melted
1 (8oz) pkg
cornbread stuffing mix

Directions Step-By-Step

Spread sauerkraut in 9x12 pan. Spread cranberry sauce over sauerkraut. Place chicken breasts, halved, on top of cranberry sauce.

In bowl stir stuffing, hot water and butter. Spread mixture evenly over chicken.

Bake 400 degrees 50 minutes. Serves 4-6.
