Cajun chicken & linguine

A quick, spicy dish I came up with when I had few ingredients in the house. I needed to go shopping!!
But I did have chicken, pasta and seasonings. That's all you need!

Ingredients

4 oz
dried ronzoni healthy harvest linguine
2
boneless, skinless chicken breasts cutlets, cut into strips.
2 Tbsp
butter
2 tsp
cajun seasoning
1
green bell pepper, chopped.
1/2
of a red bell pepper, chopped.
4 large
mushrooms, sliced.
1 large
green onion, finley chopped.
1-1/2 c
light cream
1/4 tsp
basil
1/4 tsp
lemon pepper seasoning
1/4 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
garlic powder
1/8 tsp
pepper
2 Tbsp
grated parmesan cheese.

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook pasta as directed, drain, set aside. Place chicken strips and Cajun seaoning in bowl, toss to coat. In lg skillet over medium heat, saute chicken in butter for 5-7 min. Add both bell peppers, mushrooms and green onion. Cook 3 min. Reduce heat to med-low. Stir in light cream. Season w/ basil, lemon pepper, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Heat through, stirring occasionally. In lg serving bowl, toss linguine w/ sauce. Sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese.
