Mary's StoryI bought a pkg of ground chicken and when I got home, did not know what to do with it. Got on line and found this recipe by Rachael Ray. It is a fairly old recipe by her. My husband & I really enjoy it. It's a keeper.
1 1/2 - 2 lb
ground chicken or turkey
olive oil or vegetable oil
carrots - finely diced
stalks celery - finely diced
onion - finely diced
2 to 3
garlic cloves - minced - fresh or jar
salt & pepper to taste
vinegar - any flavor you have
buffalo wing sauce - mild or hot
burger buns - split & toasted
(5 oz size) blue cheese crumbles
dill pickle slices - optional

1Heat Skillet with oil over medium high heat. Brown Chicken, breaking up, for about 5 to 6 minutes. Add in carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt & pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes more.
2In a bowl combine vinegar, sugar, worcestershire, tomato sauce, broth & hot sauce. Combine sauce mix into chicken mixture and simmer until vegetables are tender and is the desired consistancy.
