Beer can Chicken

- 1 stick
- real butter
- 1-3 large
- whol chickens. abought 2 lbs each
- 1 can
- dark beer or beer of your choice
- 1 1/2 tsp
- each of garic powder and onion power
- 1 oz
- j.d. wiskey
1wash chicken inside and out. reserve giblets.pat dry. make a compond butter by mixing butter,garic,and onion powder together.... lift skin on the chicken and insert butter under skin.though out the whole chicken. rub out side with your favorit seasoning.
2emty abought 1/2 of the can of beer.(i drink the other 1/2)pour 1 oz of wiskey into can of beer.. set can in to the beer can holder. (you can buy them just abought any were). slide chicken over holder.
3pre heat grill to low heat.(250-300 no more then 300)place chicken over inderict heat. cook for 1-1/2 -2 hours.remove from heat and let rest for 15 min. chicken will just abought fall off the bone. serve with rice or what ever you like
