Soak and wash chicken. I usually soak mine in a little salt water.
Pat dry all pieces. spray buttery Pam in baking dish
take all seasonings combine and sprinkle on chicken (both sides)
Bake at 400 for 1 hour

Do you bake the chicken covered or uncovered and do you turn the chicken during the baking time?

I do not cover or turn the chicken. I just put the pan in the oven, set the timer for 1 hour, and it is done. I am disabled so I don't fuss too much. Thank you for asking.

Sounds just like I like it also. I will try this soon. I love chicken just about any way you cook it. But, alas, being from the south, fried is still tops with me, even though I try not to eat it very often.

mmmmmmmmm Gonna try this, even gonna splurge and buy a cut up chicken!! My hubby loves it fried too, has promised me he will eat it baked/roasted. When I bake chicken, I really trim the fat off with my kitchen shears. And I put buttered or Pam'd foil on the bottom of my pan, less clean-up and scrubbing. There's even a new non-stick foil out right now, I love it!!
