Sauerkraut & Meatballs

This is an easy meal. I take it to reunions and never come home with any. Many ask for the recipe. Try it if you like sauerkraut.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 lb
ground sirloin
1 lb
bob evans orig. sausage
1/2 c
minute rice
1
egg, beaten
1 medium
onion chopped small
1 bag(s)
sauerkraut
salt & pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Mix all ingredients, except sauerkraut. Make into meatballs 1 1/2 to 2" round. Set aside.
2In a crockpot, place 1 bag of kraut (rinsed, its always salty). Put the crock pot on low.
3Add the meatballs on top of kraut and cover. Let cook for six to eight hours, on low.
