I saw this in a magazine. They have a wonderful flavor, perfect for a cookout. Top with your favorites, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion. Yum!

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef (i use ground chuck)
1/2 lb
bulk italian sausage
1&1/2 c
mushrooms, finely chopped
1/2 c
onions, finely chopped
1/4 c
barbeque sauce (i used sweet baby ray's)
2 Tbsp
mustard (i use guldens)
2 Tbsp
ketchup
1/2 tsp
pepper (i use fresh cracked)
1/4 tsp
salt

Step-By-Step

1Combine ingredient in a medium bowl. Shape into burgers.

2Set oven to broil. Place burgers on foil-lined broiler pan.
Broil 8-10 minutes per side.

3Notes: You can expand this recipe to one lb. of sausage. It will make two more burgers.
This will make 4 1/3 lb. burgers or 6 1/4 lb. burgers. Enjoy!
