Ingredients

SEASON THE STEAK

1 lb
beef round steak
pinch
red pepper flakes
dash(es)
black pepper

PERPARE THE STEAK COATING

2 Tbsp
cornstarch
2 tsp
suger
6 Tbsp
soy sauce
1/4 c
white wine

VEGGIE INGREDIENTS

3 Tbsp
vegetable oil divided
3 c
broccoli florets
2
medium carrots sliced thin
1/2 c
onion chopped
1 c
pea pods
1 c
mushrooms sliced
2 tsp
minced garlic
1/2 tsp
ground ginger

FINISHING TOUCH

1 box
cooked rice

Step-By-Step

1In a bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and wine until smooth.

2Add beef and toss to coat; set aside.

3In a large skillet, stir-fry broccoli, carrots, pea pods and onion in 1 tablespoon oil for 1 minute. Cover and simmer for 4 minutes; remove and keep warm.

4In the same skillet, stir-fry beef in remaining oil until meat reaches desired doneness. Return vegetables to pan; toss.

5Serve over rice. I used the brand A TASTE OF THAI - garlic basil coconut (6.7 oz)
