My crockpot is my friend! This easy to make recipe is truly delicious. You can add additional veggies you love. Thicken the left over juice for a lovely gravy if you like.

Ingredients

2 lb
beef chuck roast
1 medium
package of red potatoes
1 lb
organic carrots
1/2
bulb of garlic
1 qt
water
2 Tbsp
beef base
salt and pepper to taste
1 sprig(s)
rosemary
2
quartered onions

Step-By-Step

1Gather all ingredients.
2Put a crockpot liner into crockpot.
3Half red potatoes and put into crockpot.
4Add whole carrots to crockpot.
5Add 2 quartered onions to crockpot.
6Place pot roast on top of veggies. Salt & pepper to taste.
7Boil 1 quart of water on the stove.
8Add two tablespoons of beef base. Dissolve base in water.
9Add the beef base to the crockpot. You can use beef stock instead of beef base but make it a really good stock.
10Add one sprig of Rosemary.
11Set crockpot to low and cook 6-8 hours.
