Yummy beef stew for fall

I have made this stew every year for my family ,it is low on perp tome and can be made in crock pot or on top of stove

beef stew meat
2 lb
onions roughly chopped
2 lb
potatoes peeled and corsely chopped
2or3 lb
fresh green beans or frozen
1 lb
sweet peas frozen
2 bunch
carrots washed and cut however you want
2 qt
beef beoth may use more
coarse sea salt
black pepper
6 clove
fresh garlic

Directions Step-By-Step

First i flour and brown my meat on all sides .Seasoning as i go .
brown onions and chopped garlic to pan i browned meat in till soft .Then i put meat onions and garlic along with salt and pepper and beef broth in a 12 quart pot and simmer till meat is almost tender.
then i add all the rest of the ingredients to the pot and let cool tilldone.THEN I USE a little cornstarch and water to thichen the stew.
you may add a bayleaf if you chose to my family does'nt care for the taste .
Serve this with a nice crusty bread or homemade bread.
