Upside Down Pizza

I found this recipe in a cookbook and changed it a little to make it my own. My kids love it and they are very picky eaters

1 lb
lean ground beef
2 dash(es)
italian seasoning
1 jar(s)
pizza sauce
1 can(s)
mushrooms, canned (optional)
1 can(s)
black olives, siced (optional)
2 c
mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 can(s)
crescent rolls, refrigerated
any pizza toppings of your choice


1Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
2Brown the ground beef until no longer pink. I always drain off the grease and rinse with hot water in a colander to rinse off any added grease.
3Return to pan and add Italian seasoning and pizza sauce. Cook until heated through.
4Place Ground beef mix into the bottom of a 11x13 in. pan. Add any pizza toppings you like. (My kids like black olives) Then sprinkle pizza cheese on top of toppings.
5You then place crescent rolls to cover cheese. Pinch perforated edges together to form one even layer. Then bake for around 10 minutes or until top is cooked thoroughly and golden in color.
