My whole family had seconds & thirds! If you have any leftovers, these would make an awesome meatloaf sandwich the next day!

Ingredients

1 can(s)
tomato soup
1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1/2 c
fine dry bread crumbs
1
egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c
finely chopped onion
1 tsp
salt
shortening
water

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup and remaining ingredients.

Shape into two loaves.

Brown in skillet in shortening.

Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.

Spoon off fat.

Mix together remaining soup and 1/3 cup water.

Pour over and around loaves.

Cook uncovered 10 additional minutes, stirring often, and keeping tops of meatloaves covered with soup
