Ingredients For top-stove meatloaf

1 cantomato soup
-
1 1/2 lbground beef
-
1/2 cfine dry bread crumbs

1egg, slightly beaten

1/4 cfinely chopped onion
-
1 tspsalt
-
shortening
-
water
How To Make top-stove meatloaf

1Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup and remaining ingredients. Shape into two loaves.

2Brown in skillet in shortening. Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes. Spoon off fat.

3Mix together remaining soup and 1/3 cup water. Pour over and around loaves. Cook uncovered 10 additional minutes, stirring often, and keeping tops of meatloaves covered with soup
