place in your honey bbq sauce, salt and pepper and mix together with hands. trick is to mix it all in together very well.
take a large pinch of meat and roll into a ball you want your ball to be about 2" in diameter. roll it until its smooth and no cracks. now you can either smoosh it with your hands to make the patty or i like to take two plates. place a layer of italian bread crumbs on bottom plate then place a layer of italian bread crumbs on top of your hamburger ball. take your other plate and using the bottom of it place it on your ball and press to flatten.
the next step is entirely up to you and how you enjoy your burgers. personally i prefer this burger cooked on the bbq pit over mesquite. the mesquite gives it a very nice flavor. these burgers generally dont take long to cook and when done will feel very moist. either which way you decide to go on cooking these you will need to be gently flipping them until their almost done. they are so moist they will try to fall apart.
